We were successful last week.
I recieved a bit of push back on my E-Flyer and Facebook posts from my friends this past week. They asked, "Why publicly call out Republicans when you can pick up the telephone, talk to them and make your point?" Simply, I have no sway over the Republican leaders. But you do.
Enough calls were made to State, County and Ward 31 Republican leaders that encouraged them to work through the compliance challenges facing the Ward and County. As united Republicans we have a chance to win the CD-1 race. We wish Mark Moore well.
Their Union Leaders Sold Them Out
Were you surprised the Keystone pipe-liners voted for Joe Biden? I wasn't. I have witnessed similiar occurences in New Mexico. Our Republican leaders have supported Libertarians candidates. Oil and gas associations supported Democrats that opposes their industry. Now a Republican political consultant is working for a democrat running to be mayor of Albuquerque.
Winning the Governor's race in 2022 begins with winning the Mayorial Race in Albuquerque. Call our Republican leaders tell them, "Recruit a Great Republican Candidate for the mayorial race."
Working together is like dancing. You support one another and try not step on their toes
A united Republican Party can win. Four years ago we had a Republican Mayor in Albuquerque and a Republican Governor in Santa Fe. We unite with our principals and win by addressing the concerns of that are important to New Mexicans.
I have heard many times that those who believe in the sanctity of life do not understand why our Republican Govenor did not try to end late term abortion and those that carry the "Don't Tread on Me" flag do not understand why those that are pro-life are not passionate about liberty. We can do both. We unite with a few simple words; "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness".
I need your help
I welcome your suggestions for guests you would like to hear on the program and invite your input on ideas and issues for discussion to encourage communications and cooperation within the party.
As Bob Graham emailed me this week, "I have always believed and continue to believe, I felt you were working to bring people together for the betterment of the State and Country. Thanks for reaching out!"
That is what "To The Point With Mick Rich" is about.
We will begin broadcasting new segments May 27. At that time I need sponsors to cover production, broadcast and outreach costs. Whether it is 30 people at $100 per month or 5 at $600 I need your help. I will acknowledged our sponsors during the breaks.
